Description:
Marcie was born and raised in the shadows of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
A child of the seventies,she got most of her musical influeces from her dad and
the mix of southern rock, folk, bluegrass, and alternative country that he and
his friends played at family gatherings and frequent pickin' parties.Marcie has
been singing all her life in church and school.She rediscovered bluegrass in1998.
She fell in love with the heart, soul , and true-ness of the genre and has never
looked back.With the support of her huband and four sons,as well as some
phenominal bluegrass pickers, she is working hard to make a name for herself
in the bluegrass community.Her talent and personality have made her a crowd
favorite wherever she performs. |
